What this helps you do
Distinguish the current download from newer source and unverified functionality.
When to use it
The app differs from a guide, or you need to know what the current download actually contains before updating.
Before you begin
Use the desktop app and check the edition requirement: Basic / Pro. The current published version is shown above. Confirm the selected item and playhead before changing anything. This audit does not verify a physical Windows device.
Step by step
Screenshots: Mac v1.7.0 Follow each step with the real app interface below. Select an image to enlarge the marked area.
- Check the app’s license/version information against the official download page. This handbook references 1.5.0, build 20261018.1.
Figure 1 The actual version shown in the license window. Compare it with the download page and article version. - This release adds the wooden mannequin and pose library, cylinder and box-body mannequins, three-stage Blocking & performance, smooth following, the interface tour and camera adoption blocks. Dialogue allows cross-speaker interruption and rejects same-speaker overlap.
Figure 2 Version 1.5.0 includes four mannequin variants in the character library. - MCP current-window plans, task takeover, dotted ripple status and device-trial parity are synchronized, with shared commands for doors/windows, reference audio and project frame rate/aspect. SI stays hidden; no public HTML app download is provided.

The Apple Silicon Mac installer is signed and notarized. Windows x64 is unsigned and may show an unknown-publisher warning. Mac verification does not replace physical Windows or Intel Mac acceptance.

1.6.0 / 20261022.1
- Import models into an existing or new library category before inserting them. Move categories, confirm deletion and inspect original textures; imported skinned models support position, rotation and scale.
- Insert templates into the current project with whole-scene dragging, viewport-center placement and source-package groups. Viewport picking locks preserve object animation.
- Blocking & performance uses three collapsible stages with immediate previews and a choice to hold the final pose or return to standing. Camera and focus dragging updates monitors continuously.
- New multicamera cameras start independently and static, with numbered markers and blue paths. Resize or move camera motion independently, extend the final program segment and link timeline selection with monitors.
- A compact icon toolbar keeps timeline zoom alongside editing actions. Full-project save conflicts, multi-file document exports, English summaries and MCP parity are improved.
Version 1.7.0
Activation-based licenses, clearer exports and timeline editing
- Support new managed activation codes and device permits after online activation. Automatic verification runs every 24 hours with up to seven days offline; existing licenses remain compatible.
- Export through Video, Materials and Backup tabs, with audio in videos, timed segments and a single ZIP for production materials.
- Snap across timeline tracks with a visible guide. Loop in/out points are clearer, and single playback returns to the in point.
- Viewport dialogue follows character height and scene occlusion. Find the complete shortcut guide, model marketplace and help in More.
- Fix camera-clock changes when replacing movement presets and allow camera keys to move to either side of a full-program cut-in point.
Settings and edit scope
| Control or concept | Meaning and boundary |
|---|---|
| Mac | The current Apple Silicon release is signed and notarized. This audit inspects its UI in an isolated data directory. |
| Windows | The current x64 EXE is unsigned. This audit does not provide a physical Windows acceptance test. |
| Newer source | This release includes the interface tour, adoption blocks and updated example; SI stays hidden. |
Check the result
You know which client the instructions describe and can identify unpublished changes without repeatedly reinstalling.
Troubleshooting and recovery
Check the actual interface against the 1.6.0 steps on this page.
If the result is unexpected, stop playback, check the selected item and time, and use Undo before making another change. Keep a backup rather than repeatedly overwriting the project.
