Small tools for better shot decisions
Use these browser tools without installing the director app.
Shot-size calculator
Explore the relationship between focal length, camera distance and subject height. Values are a framing estimate, not a replacement for checking the camera view.
Camera-move guide
Compare the intent of a dolly, pan, truck, crane or orbit using simple movement diagrams.
First/last-frame prompt builder
Create an editable reference brief from subject, location, framing and movement choices. This tool creates text locally; it does not generate a video or call a model.

Claim a one-time, 7-day Pro trial online in the app. Online verification is required at each launch and every 5 minutes while running, with marked trial exports. Basic remains available if verification fails. Basic scene building, preview and project saving remain free forever.
