What this helps you do

Understand installation, Basic, the trial and purchased activation.

When to use it

You are installing for the first time, checking entitlement, or activating a purchase on the computer you use.

Before you begin

Use the desktop app and check the edition requirement: Basic / Pro. The current published version is shown above. Confirm the selected item and playhead before changing anything. This audit does not verify a physical Windows device.

Step by step

Screenshots: Mac v1.5.0 Follow each step with the real app interface below. Select an image to enlarge the marked area.

  1. Open Download on the official site and check the version, operating system and architecture. The current Mac download is for Apple Silicon; Windows uses an x64 EXE.
Figure 1 The actual website download page shows the current version and platform downloads.
  2. On Mac, open the DMG and drag the app into Applications. On Windows, run the official installer. Read the download page before responding to operating-system security prompts.

Figure 2 The Mac installation view comes from the released DMG. Windows installer captures still need a physical device.
  3. Start in Basic. If you want the trial, open More → License and connect to the internet to claim this device’s one-time 7-day Pro trial.

  4. If you purchased Pro, paste the complete activation credential supplied by your order or seller for initial online activation. Keep the receipt private.

Figure 4b Managed verification and offline expiry

A valid seven-day Pro device trial includes MCP automation. Online verification reuses the device and original expiry; restoring is not a new trial. Existing BM2 keeps its original offline rules; BMR follows the managed policy below.

Changes in 1.7.0

This version supports managed BMR activation codes. Activate online to obtain a device permit, then verify automatically once every 24 hours after the last successful check, or use Verify now. A permit allows up to seven days offline and never extends beyond the entitlement expiry. New manually issued terms start at first successful activation: personal licenses have one seat and teams up to five, sharing the expiry set by the first device. Unactivated stock does not consume its term, but an activation deadline may apply. Existing BME/BM2 licenses retain their original rules. New managed issuance still awaits the seller’s production switch; upgrading does not replace codes, release seats or restart a trial.

Settings and edit scope

Control or conceptMeaning and boundary
TrialStarts when successfully claimed, lasts 7 × 24 hours, and requires online checks at launch and while running. Reinstalling does not restart it.
Purchased ProBMR activates online, then verifies every 24 hours with up to seven days offline. Existing BM2 retains its original policy. Clearing does not release a seat.

Check the result

The License panel shows Basic, the remaining trial time, or an active Pro license.

Troubleshooting and recovery

The current Windows download is explicitly unsigned. A successful download is not an installation compatibility test. Contact support with your order reference for device changes; repeatedly deleting app data is not a recovery strategy.

If the result is unexpected, stop playback, check the selected item and time, and use Undo before making another change. Keep a backup rather than repeatedly overwriting the project.

Still need a hand?

Include your app version, operating system and the error message. Never include your license or API key.
