What this helps you do
Choose video, first/last frames and prompts for their different roles.
When to use it
A reviewed shot plan must be packaged as reference inputs supported by an external model.
Before you begin
Use the desktop app and check the edition requirement: Pro / active trial. The current published version is shown above. Confirm the selected item and playhead before changing anything. This audit does not verify a physical Windows device.
Step by step
Screenshots: Mac v1.7.0 Follow each step with the real app interface below. Select an image to enlarge the marked area.
- Finish and review the previs before choosing production / video-generation delivery in Export & Deliver.
Figure 1 Choose the delivery purpose first: watch a previs, create production material, or continue editing/back up. - Select per-shot materials, first/last frames, prompt cards or a reference video according to the task. A watchable full-length video is not the same as a per-shot production bundle.
Figure 2 Production/video-generation delivery lists per-shot materials. Select inputs supported by the external tool. - Open the exported files and verify shot order, framing and prompts. Remove sensitive notes before sharing.

Settings and edit scope
| Control or concept | Meaning and boundary |
|---|---|
| Reference video | Communicates blocking, framing and movement, without guaranteeing service acceptance or exact adherence. |
| First/last frames | Describe shot endpoints. Check their order and shot association. |
| Prompts | Support description, but generated results still need review. |
Check the result
You know which shot each file belongs to, what it expresses and which inputs the external service accepted.
Troubleshooting and recovery
This guide does not guarantee a third-party model, API or result. Requirements change; use that service’s current official instructions.
If the result is unexpected, stop playback, check the selected item and time, and use Undo before making another change. Keep a backup rather than repeatedly overwriting the project.
